Course development

Idea, Content and Structure development
Teaching staff of University of Zagreb (associate professor Lelia Kis-Glavas, assisstant professor Martina Feric Slehan, assisstant professor Valentina Kranželić, Larisa Buhin Loncar, Ph.D., i Mirjana Zubak, BA), University of Rijeka (assisstant professor Tamara Martinac Dorcic), University of Dubrovnik (assisstant professor  Tihomir Lukovic, Daria Vucijevic, BA), University of Split (full professor Arsen Bacic), and Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek (associate professor Ines Drenjancevic-Peric) worked on the development of contents (also created was an Internal Handbook for Instructors) and structure of the course as part of a Tempus project titled, ‘’Education for Equal Opportunities at Croatian Universities – EduQuality’’.

Course establishing procedure on the University of Zagreb
Peer Support for Students with Disabilities course was positively review by Croatian and international reviewers (February 2011.),  course is approved by the Working Group for Study Programs (February, 22nd 2011.),  the Committee for Quality Assurance (March 3rd 2011.), Academic Area Council (March 16th 2011.) and by the Senate of the University of Zagreb (March 29th 2011.). The course now has the status of university course.

Course implementation/dissemination plan
In the academic year 2011/12. (winter semester) course will be piloted at University of Zagreb. In summer semester, same academic year, course will be implemented at University of Zagreb and University of Rijeka, followed by course implementation at Juraj Strosmayer University of Osijek and University of Zadar. From the academic year 2012./13. course will be available for implementation to all interested Croatian Universities.
For course implementation, “Internal Handbook for Instructors” was created, and course will be accessible in e-learning mode (materials for teachers, individual plans, individual plans feedback, planning the activities, supervisions).
